I live with my mom and her boyfriend. I have two turtles and three indoor cats. I'm in track, I love soccer. I STINK at football. :). But then again I'm a girl so I'm allowed to be bad at boy's sports. I like school because i'm good at things... sometimes. can you tell I'm a blonde:) hehe.

  • From all the rain in the rainforest the plants had to adapt by having spoutlike shaped leaves and slick coating the rain can fall off of easier.

  • The roots help support them from rain.

  • The average rainfall per year is 50 to 260 inches.
  • Most rain forests lie on the equator.


  • The average temperature of a rain forest is 77F, never dropping below 64F. The biomes of 32F or below can't support rainforest life.
  • 50% of the precipitation comes from its own precipitation.
